ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Implement the target operating model for the business - which is shared between Retail & Investment Management parts of the business - with an initial priority focus on equipping the new sales team with collateral, process and tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validate the existing target operating model with key stakeholders
- Work with key stakeholders to define and prioritise the deliverables required to make that operating model a reality
- Develop the delivery plan to achieve these priorities consistent with the overall milestones of the BBB implementation programme
- Identify and manage resources to develop those deliverables and where necessary, personally develop key elements of those deliverables
- Manage and report progress against the plan agreed with key stakeholders
- Manage the agenda and input materials for the Deal Governance Forum and Client Development weekly meeting
- Set up a pipeline reporting process
- Coordinate the reporting of BBB sales activity with relationship owners in Corporate and Investment Banks and in other sales teams in Wealth and Retail
- Define and manage process to on-board new joiners, including the training of these new joiners
- Contribute to the hiring of, and handing over to, the permanent BBB Business Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- Awareness of Economy, market, customer and technology trends affecting the business
- Stakeholder management, influence and impact
- Knowledge of banking industry and retail financial products
- Regulatory knowledge and operational risk management
- Experience of employee benefits provision and workplace savings
- Project Management/Team Leading
- Business analysis & implementation
- Change management experience (inc process & organisation design)
- Experience of retail financial sales process
