A Project Director is required to be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of the programme, in terms of time, cost, quality and profitability. To proactively work with the Senior Management Team to ensure delivery of a 'world class' programme that delights the customer and secures follow on business.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- A key member of the Programme Team, accountable for shaping and delivering successful ROAR programme
- Accountable for ensuring ROAR is delivered to cost & within the frameworks
- Continuous process & performance improvement
- Talent development within AOR

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS REQUIRED

- Significant track record of success in Programmes leadership for a similar sized project (£40m)
- Proven capability of managing complex stakeholder and contractual maps, ideally in an international arena
- Development of a continuous improvement approach during the successful delivery of the Programme
- Good understanding of organisation-wide issues and the ability to provide and deliver solutions for resolution
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Strong team working ethic
- Energetic leader who can motivate a large, diverse team to deliver effectively
- Able to make and stand behind difficult decisions
- Working cross-cultured

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

- Project Management qualifications
- Demonstrable track record in large, complex programmes delivery
- Demonstrable engineering skills within the AIR space
- Educated to degree level (preferably Masters) or equivalent
