Warehouse Operative/Stock Controller/Warehouse person required for a world leading Oil and Gas firm based in Peterhead for a full time position in a 7 month contract. Seek an organised, personable and proactive individual.

Skills required

* Previous experience of working in a Warehouse

* Reach Truck Forklift Licence desirable but not mandatory

* Counter Balance Forklift licence desirable but not mandatory

Roles and responsibilities include

* Taking delivery of goods and supplies

* Checking for damaged or missing items

* Storing goods

* Moving stock around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift truck

* Picking and packing orders

* Loading goods for dispatch

* Keeping records of stock

* Keeping paperwork up to date

* Issuing stock and re-stocking depleted items by reference to materials requisitions and purchase orders.

* Resolving discrepancies in inventory levels.

* Ensure proper packaging of final products (and package markings).

* Dispatching trucks, material handling equipment and drivers.

* Maintaining documentation and computer inputs.

* Adequate protection of items for storage or transit.

* Responsible for the day-to-day receiving, storage and packing activities.

* Maintaining stores in an orderly and safe manner, and to preclude items from pilferage and deterioration.

* Documentation work for all goods receipts and shipments.
