Projektbeschreibung
One of our clients are currently looking for a Storage/Virtualisation Engineer to work in their Dublin office.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Storage/SAN/VMware support environment and have excellent general knowledge and experience of all aspects of IT infrastructure, communication systems. and have an ITIL foundation certificate. The ability to demonstrate high level of knowledge on Storage & Backup solutions and administration and a high level of knowledge on Virtualization solutions and administration (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix etc.)
- Sharing of daily operational responsibility for Storage, Backup and Virtualization systems administration.
- 2nd and 3rd line technical support for storage, backup and virtualization related issues.
- Implement Continual Improvement Initiatives for storage, backup and virtualization platforms.
- Capacity planning and management for the Global Storage & Virtualized Infrastructures.
- Technical review of storage, backup and virtualization platform related change requests for approval on weekly basis.
- Keep design and operational documentation up to date.
