Storage Specialist (EMC) Contract

My Client, a major financial institution based in Dublin, is actively looking for a Senior SAN Storage consultant with strong experience working with EMC products for a long term contract based in their offices just outside Dublin City Centre.

Looking for a Storage Technician working with enterprise class storage platforms, with 5 years' plus experience in EMC Storage Area Network products, VMAX, VNX, DMX, Clariion, Celera, brocade Switches.

Aswell as the below, candidates must have experience working on mid-tier or enterprise-class EMC arrays.

TECHNOLOGIES

- Storage Array Administration (HDS VSP, HP EVA and EMC DMX and Clariion).
- SAN Switch Administration (Brocade and McData)
- UNIX (Solaris, HPUX and RedHat) Server and User Administration.
- Symantec Storage Foundation and Clustering

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Administrating HP EVAs, EMC Clariions and DMXs
- Administrating Brocade and McData SAN Switches
- Managing projects to upgrade key systems and applications
- Designing and architecting solutions for critical systems and applications
- Logging and managing hardware faults with the appropriate third parties
- Implementation and administration of AXS-One email archiving and records management environment.
- Maintain EMC (Symmetrix, Clariion, Celera & Centera) and HP (EVA) storage arrays plus SAN Director Switches.
