Storage Specialist - Amsterdam - Data Centre - Telecoms

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide technical capability, support and maintenance for the Storage based platforms and processes

Delivery and documentation of:

- Escalated on-call 24x7x365 support
- Operational, initiative and project based activities
- Performance management
- Patch and vulnerability management
- Technical design and implementation
- Licence & Vendor management
- Backup & Disaster recovery management/capability
- Storage and SAN security and hardening
- Audit & Compliance
- Provide key input into solution design, strategy & roadmaps
- Resource management, covering both permanent & contract resource (on & offshore)

YOUR PROFILE:

- Very strong experience of core storage and SAN technology products
- HPe 3PAR
- HDS ( Hitachi Data Storage )
- EMC VNX/VMAX
- Brocade & Cisco SAN Switch technology
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of Storage technologies ( Block/File/Object )
- Experience managing site-to-site disaster solutions.
- Understanding of the telecoms and media business sector
- Relevant industry experience in an operational environment
- Experience in managing multiple project deliveries simultaneously
