Storage Engineer (NATO)

Qualifications
1. 7+ years of directly related experience in system Dell/EMC storage system, administration and analysis with an emphasis on storage provisioning and backup administration in support of VMware data center infrastructure
2. NATO Top Secret Security Clearance/OR DV
3. Experience with Unity Storage system deployment, and system administration
4. Strong knowledge of data center backup and archive solutions to include EMC data domain and Avamar products
5. Knowledge of and experience with ExtremeIO product and configuration
6. Highly motivated and able to learn on your own, as well as quickly pick up new technologies and best practices
7. Ability to appropriately communicate with customers in a professional manner, as well as working one-on-one with customers
8. Knowledge of VMware vSphere management tools in areas related to database and file system synchronization, web interfaces, iSCSI interface,
9. Experience working with ESXi, vSphere version 6.x
10. Automation skills utilizing Ansible (Preferred),
11. Scripting skills utilizing, python, Perl and or bash
12. Experience with applying DOD STIG to Storage System
Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
