Storage Engineer - EMC - Banking Salary: 55-65k + benefits + banking bonus Location:LondonCity A boutique global investment bank is looking to hire a Storage Engineer to handle operational management, troubleshooting, system analysis and delivery tasks for data storage and back up technologies. The engineer will be a subject matter expert for storage technologies in an EMC dominated environment so strong skills in this arena and the ability to face off to the business is important. Ideal skill set: * EMC VNX * EMC Clariion * Cisco MDS and Brocade switches * SAN migration * Application backups and recovery * EMC Celerra, Recover Point, Cluster Enabler and Powerpath * Exposure/Appreciation of Virtualisation technologies including VMware * Due to evolving environment, VMAX knowledge is highly desirable Whilst there are the core EMC Storage technical requirements for the role, equally as important is finding a candidate who is highly personable as the team and company are not like many banks, they are very sociable and employees build strong relationships across business and technology teams globally.
