Storage Engineer

We are currently looking for a storage engineer to work for a big international client of us in the Hague area.

This is a contracting opportunity for 1 year plus extensions. In this role you will be responsible for End-to-end problem management and monitoring across the storage environment. You will also Develop tools and solutions either in hour or in cooperation with storage service provider.

Technical skills that are required for this role:

- Either Isilon command line or good Linux skills
- Operational support experience with NetApp and/or EMC Isilon Storage.
- Knowledge of key NetApp components such as hardware, ONTAP, Snapvault, Snapmirror, OnCommand/DFM, MetroCluster, quota management
- Knowledge of key EMC Isilon components such as hardware, OneFS, SnapshotIQ, SyncIQ, InsightIQ, SmartQuotas,SmartPools,SmartConnect
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and DFS
- Infrastructure hosting skills focused on Redhat Linux and/or Windows OS
