STORAGE ENGINEER
This client is a leading global professional services provider, and have a brand new requirement for a Storage Engineer to join their busy team. 

The role requires someone with expert knowledge in storage and data protection technologies and services. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with Client Account Teams to develop Technical Solutions and Migration Plans for Data Storage
- Designs storage and data protection solutions
- Own the implementation of new technology storage solutions
- Support new solutions and develop delivery team knowledge and skills for ongoing support of new technologies
- Assist in development of delivery support strategy for all storage services
- Provides mentoring and guidance for other storage support personnel
- Attends technical meetings and/or workshops with HP clients
- Maintains working relationships with vendors of storage and data protection products

SKILLS REQUIRED

- 8+ years of experience in IT with a minimum of 5 years with storage technologies
- Experience developing storage solutions for both enterprise and departmental storage environments
- Experience with HP3PAR, HP MPX200, HP IRSA/SIM, Storage Essentials
- Experience with multiple vendors storage products such as IBM n-Series, IBM Tape Library and VTL, Brocade Switches
- Experience with multiple data protection products such as HP Data Protector and NetBackup 
- TSM is desirable
- Experience in data migrations using IBM AIX, Windows and HP UX
- Demonstrated ability to work with and lead a technical support team
- Knowledge of disaster recovery strategies
