Storage Consultant

Currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for a Storage Consultant to be based out of one of my clients in Prague, Czech Republic on a contract basis.

Skills:
* Has good communication skills and exposure to multiple storage technologies.
* Has experience of handling and managing team
* Certification in Storage is preferred
* Storage provisioning on high end storage sub systems
* Installation and configuration of NetApp filers
* Proficient with viewing Symmetrix configuration data using Solutions Enabler and ECC.
* Has exposure to EMC Time finder and SRDF environments. Proficient in BCV sync/split processes and RDF1/RDF2 sync/split.
* Has exposure to viewing Symmetrix/DMX errors and hardware failures.

Must be familiar with:
1. Raid, Aggregate, Volume, Qtree
2. Filer Management
3. CFIS, NFS, iSCSI
4. Vfiler Management
5. Snapmirror, Snap Drive
6. Data Migration
7. Networking

Responsibilities
1. Handling day to day escalations.
2. Preparing reports and presentation of the same to the customer
3. Should have people management experience
4. Have to cover night shifts

Location: Prague
Position: Contract
Duration: 6 months
Rate: 400 CZK/Hour
