JOB ROLE: STORAGE ARCHITECT
LOCATION: PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC/BASEL, SWITZERLAND
JOB TYPE: CONTRACT
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Lead the development of the Storage and Data Protection architecture within the SSA team; reporting the Head of HSDR
Responsible for managing the life cycle of the Storage and Data Protection platform related architectural and technical components
Helping to shaping Storage and Data Protection strategy and architecture that optimizes costs and commerciality across a 1 - 5 year period (architecting out cost)
Architectureshaping the service(s) and direction delivered to the business for Storage and Data Protection
Providing high level expertise, technical consultation to the business and IT management
Integration of Storage and Data Protection architecture and technology standards as well as roadmaps to ensure their smooth and coherent evolution (core element of SSAs strategy delivery - cross team planning & design)
Enable business flexibility while complying with governance, security and interoperability requirements across all delivery platforms.
Responsible for the performance and compliance of Storage and Data Protection
Support for the development of Storage and Data Protection and CTO strategy
Participation in the innovation, improvement and strategic direction (in cooperation with Business IT, Enterprise Architecture, PMO, Operations and IGM)
Realize the potential of IT technology for the business within the area of Storage and Data Protection platforms/technologies
Create and maintain an architecture for Storage and Data Protection that will optimize our business processes and find opportunities for optimization of cost and promotion of quality
