STORAGE AND VIRTUALISATION ENGINEER
We are currently seeking an experienced 3rd line Storage and Virtualisation Contract Engineer for our customer in South Dublin.
Role:
- Administration of enterprise level Storage, Backup & VMware infrastructures.
- Sharing of daily operational responsibility for Storage, Backup and Virtualization systems administration.
- 2nd and 3rd line technical support for storage, backup and virtualization related issues.
Experience Required
- Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years' experience Implementing or administering EMC Storage & Backup/Recovery environments.
- Excellent understanding of SAN, NAS and Cloud based storage
- Experience working with EMC Hardware - VNX, Celerra, CLARiiON, ATMOS & Isilon and associated software, SnapView, Mirrorview, Snapsure, Replicator, and Recoverpoint etc
- NetApp, Dell, HP or IBM storage solutions skills would be advantageous but not essential.
- Experience with administration and configuration of Networker, Backup Exec, DataDomain, and Avamar solutions preferable.
- Experience with administration and configuration virtualization solutions, specifically VMware vSphere 4/5 however Hyper-V and Citrix skills would be an advantageous.
