Storage and Backup Administrator

Edelway AG is a Swiss IT Services Company. On behalf of our global client based in Basel, we are actively looking for an experienced Storage and Backup Administrator to join our international team in Basel on a long term basis; the role is full-time.

THE ROLE
* Operate & maintain leading-edge heterogeneous network storage infrastructure (SAN & NAS)
* Operate & maintain enterprise backup infrastructure
* Pro-active storage provisioning for all client`s researchers
* Support heterogeneous client`s storage and backup environment (EMC, NetApp, Symantec, Quantum)
* Support technical storage & backup projects such as data migration & hardware life cycle
* Organize and schedule maintenance following Clients Change Management process
* Maintain storage Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) & Working Instructions (WI) for Quality Management

YOUR PROFILE
* Experienced, with more than 10 years of mixed platform environment within major companies
* Global SBS Backup & DR Technical Lead Storage & Backup Services
* 6 years, Senior VMware/Storage Consultant, VMware Consultant, Windows Systems Administrator
* Minimum 3 years in Enterprise storage environments SAN & NAS
* Good experience in large enterprise backup operation environment such as: Symantec NetBackup, Data Domain or De-Duplication solutions.
* Suitable experience in storage operation environment such as: NetApp FAS, ISILON IQ, EMC-CX, EMC-VNX, Brocade or Cisco SAN Fabric Switches
