Storage Analyst

Storage Analyst contractor is required for our client a global organisation based in the Midlands. This is an excellent company to work for, with a challenging environment.

6 months initially. Flexible on rate for the right person.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

The planning, implementation, configuration and tuning of storage hardware and software, covering online storage Storage Area Network, Networked-Attached Storage, Direct Attached Storage), offline storage (backup, archiving), remote and offsite data storage (disaster recovery). Also incorporates storage techniques such as tiered or hierarchical storage, data de-duplication, storage virtualisation, optimisation, quota management, future capacity planning, and compliance with data retention and data protection regulations.

- Environmental Services
- Storage
- Compute
- Telecoms
- Windows/EUC

The objectives of the Infrastructure Run Services department are to:

- Supporting Management to deliver, communicate and maintain the Infrastructure Strategy and Roadmap and associated business case collateral.
- Ensure that operational services are maintained, available and scaled as per business requirements.
- Support incident and problem resolution activity within required service and Operating Level Agreements

Desirable Skills

- Has achieved proficiency in the Task of Storage management - Level 3 or at Level 3 in a related Service management Skill.
