STB (SET-TOP BOX) EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEERS (C, C++, ARM)

ConSol Partners are urgently looking for Set-Top Box Embedded Software Engineers to join two projects based in Nice, France and Amsterdam, Netherlands. Working for an international organisation, this is a long term engagement with excellent prospects for extension - we envisage the project to last around 30 months. Multiple positions are availiable.

SPECIFICATION:

- Port of a small footprint Middleware onto a Linux BSP.
- Support the integration, debugging and tuning of TV applications.
- Contribute to and create detailed technical designs.
- Participate in pilot deployment.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

3+ years Embedded development experience in a STB context.

- Strong programming skills in C, C++
- Good knowledge of a range of architectures: (ARM, x86, MIPS64, Microchip)
- Device Drivers and device driver development and tuning knowkedge
- Graphics application development skills on Embedded systems
- Graphics chip set programming skills

CONTRACT:

- 3-6 months contracts renewed for the length of the project (2-3 years)
- On site work at the customer location in either Amsterdam or Nice
- 50-55 EUR/hr dependent on experience
- Immediate start
