HOME BASED

Jake Phillips is recruiting for a STATISTICIAN to work on a 11 month contract with a global pharmaceutical company based out of one of their Cambridgeshire based offices on Melbourn Science Park.

The main responsibilities will include:

- Study statisitician supporting late phase and submission projects in oncology area
- Managing and coordinating CRO's to ensure that study deliverables are met
- Project management of studies
- Provides statistical expertise to support the design and interpretation of clinical programmes, regulatory submissions and commercialisation
- Analyses internal and external information to inform design decisions and the development of decision criteria
- Provides support to the regulatory submissions including specification of overview documents and response to regulatory questions
- Identifies opportunities for the application of modelling and simulation to improve study design

Contributes to the development of best practice to improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness

The successful applicant will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

- Mathematical, Scientific or related degree
- Excellent communication skills
- Project management experience
- Experience of working on oncology studies
- SAS programming skills
- Design and analysis of studies
- Experience of working with oncology end point studies (RECIST)
