ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Regularly analyze the performance of client services on various segments and prepare reports to product office.
- Responsible for producing statistical analysis with descriptive and predictive approaches with transaction data.
- Design and execute analytic product enhancements, conducting ad hoc data analysis and generating reports/queries in order to develop deep insights into client products and services.
- Create validation and production performance reports for analytics products.
- Perform analysis to enhance the coverage and effectiveness according business requirements.
- Work with business partners and systems/application teams to deliver and implement the enhancements.
- Develop processes to measure effectiveness of services by intelligently generating control/test groups from historical data.
- Conduct statistical analyses with SAS on massive transactional data to develop attributes for predictive models.
- Evaluate/assess predictive models developed by peers with sound statistic approaches.
- Support sales and marketing efforts of analytics products with statistical analysis and business insights.
- Process terabyte data for modelling, including data cleanse, quality assurance, integrity check and matching/merging data from different sources.
- Propose data-based strategies to optimize existing products and services per client s requests.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Graduate degree in quantitative subjects such as statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, management sciences, economics, engineering, or operations research
- 8+ years hands-on experience in statistic/data analysis and 4 years in predictive analytics
- 6+ years hands-on SAS experience in UNIX environment
- Record of excellence in timely delivery and effective problem solving
- Must be detail focused and have business oriented thinking
- Excellent writing, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability of independently working on multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and swiftly mastering extensive domain knowledge
- Ability to extract and clearly convey critical business message from in-depth data analysis
- Ability to systematically generate decision rules with advanced statistical tools
- Familiarity with UNIX Shell Scripts, SAS ODS, sophisticated data manipulations and macros
