Statistician Analyst

Monitor the predictive power of the existing algorithms by reviewing, statistically validating the existing statistical code and updating as needed

DUTIES:

- Partner with business, technology, statistical and other colleagues/SMEs to develop hypothesizes regarding what makes an Investigator Site Healthy
- Review and analyze hypotheses, questions or problems in order to deliver optimal plans/solutions to meet the needs
- Will partner with data/system SMEs to develop a robust understanding of available data attributes and limitations
- Developing, implementing and as needed, writing statistical analysis plans
- Writing statistical programming language to: Develop cutting edge predictive modelling tools, techniques and analytics to deliver deep insights into Site Health and epidemiology/correlations to relevant outcomes
- Be responsible for data analytics/data science on massive sets of complex and sometimes, unstructured data
- Interpret, write-up and present results of conducted analyses
- Manage projects to ensure they are delivered successfully and in a timely manner
- Some regional travel is required

SKILLS:

- 1-3 years of Statistical Analysis experience is required
- The ideal candidate will have 6 months, or more, work placement/intern/post-graduate work in an epidemiological research environment (regulatory, pharmaceutical)
- Experience working in data mining or working with big data
- Well-developed planning, observation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience designing, implementing and writing statistical analysis plans
- The ability to articulate complex statistical/technical issues to non-experts
- Project management, time management and technical capabilities
- The ideal candidate will have Pharmaceutical experience in order to have a good understanding of the processes associated with the conduct of clinical trials and operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, this includes presentations skills (English)
- Must be capable of building strong relationships with colleagues and service providers
- A knowledge of working across international boundaries and cultures
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a complex Matrix environment
