Projektbeschreibung
Harvey Nash is looking for a Statistician for a 12 month project in Switzerland.
The role is for a candidate to assure the appropriate use of statistical methodology in drug discovery through consulting, training and education, and appropriate software; this includes statistical design and analysis of experiments, planning and optimal use of animal studies to provide high quality information for compound decisions and the use of visualization and data mining techniques.
You are responsible for
- Ensuring proper use of statistical methods through consulting and expert advise, training and education; driving the use of innovative statistical methodologies
- Bringing statistical expertise and input for the design and analysis of studies, experiments, bioassays in all research areas in particular for the biomedical, pharmacological and animal experiments
- Adherence to Health Authority requirements, regulatory guidelines, registration and submission projects, approval of study protocols
- Performing statistical analysis with the aid of suitable statistical software
- Providing users with statistical standard software to analyse experimental data, prepare, hold and organize training for statistics tools
- Preparing, giving and organizing training and education for statistical methodology and new state of the art statistical methods and procedures
- Leading collaborations with DAs and platforms, the assigned projects and group members to successful teamwork and a high recognition
- consulting for different laboratories
- planning and leading of trainings
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Industry, deep knowledge of drug discovery process in a research environment
- MSc/PhD in Statistics or Mathematics
- Internal and external scientific network
- Good exposure with statistic software
- Languages: English, German
