STATISTICAL MODELLER/DATA MODELLER - UK INSURANCE SECTOR  - MARKET LEADER, CONTRACT ROLE £400-£450 PER DAY INITIAL 6 MONTHS - CAN BE BASED IN LONDON/READING OR DEVON

EMBLEM OR R OR MATLAB OR SAS - DATA MODELLER REQUIRED BY A LEADING INSURANCE FIRM

Data Modeller required by a leading provider of insurance solutions to the property and mortgage markets. The successful modeller can be based out of either the London or Reading office of this market leading insurance provider.

The data modeller/financial modeller will be responsible for designing and building loss models for the UK property and mortgage insurance markets as well as creating underwriting models. You will work as part of an award winning team to provide solutions to some of the most prestigious client organisations in this space, and will have a chance to manage your own client relationships and lead your own projects.

My Client is looking for an ambitious individual with a strong statistical background and experience of data manipulation and modelling who is keen to take on a new challenge.

Applicants should demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Strong statistical background
- Experience of building complex data models
- Experience in the Insurance or Property/Mortgage sectors
- Educational background in maths or statistics would be ideal although not a necessity
