Statistical MI Reports Developer - SQL, SSRS, MS Dynamics

ANALYTICAL AND STATISTICAL MI REPORTS DEVELOPER required for Government Department for 4 WEEKS INITIALLY, to be based in MANCHESTER OR LONDON

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (MUST BE EVIDENT ON CVS:

EXPERIENCE OF DATA ANALYSIS, STATISTICAL MODELLING AND BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE.

EXPERIENCE OF MI REPORT DESIGN, SPECIFICATION, DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING.

Experience of negotiating with developers, users and stakeholders to find effective solutions to underlying reporting needs.

Experience of refining and improving existing MI reports

Knowledge of database structures, particularly MS Dynamics 2013

EXPERIENCE OF THE SQL PLATFORM, ABILITY TO WRITE SQL REPORTS.

Knowledge of best practice for reporting and data collection processes.

Ability to work with stakeholders to specify and manage requirements

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To design, develop and test MI Reports which mine data on how the organisation handles communications and correspondence including parliamentary questions, correspondence (answered by Ministers and officials), FOIs, DPAs and telephone (helpdesk calls) on existing processes, the quality of outputs, and time taken by staff in preparing responses to enable and assess performance and monitor the cost/resource of the current processes and forecast future trends.

To Design, develop and test SQL solutions and create SSRS reports to meet the MI needs as specified, using statistical modelling, process control and Business Intelligence methods.

Produce reports analysing data on quality, time taken, cost (against current baseline costs) and processes for the client''s functions.

Improving any existing MI reports produced using the Advanced Find query tool in MS Dynamics 2013, to ensure statistically valid results are produced.
