Stationary Engineer

Stationary Steam Engineers are needed for 4-6 month contract positions in the Cleveland, OH area. You must be a licensed Steam Stationary Engineer. 2 positions available for 12-hour shifts (7AM - 7PM and 7PM to 7AM). Lots of overtime available. Medical, health and 401k benefits are available to contractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work as a stationary engineer at the plant, running machine, pushing and releasing buttons and toggles in the control room to release steam from incinerators and boilers in the plant.
- Take measurements as needed.
- Work safely in the plant and control room wearing safety attire (steel toed boots, hard hat) as needed.
- Compose a daily log of observations, actions and activities that accurately conveys information for supervisors and the next shift.

REQUIREMENTS

- Must be a licensed or certified Stationary Steam Engineer with at least 3 years of related experience.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to professionally interact with client and customer.
