- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the standard operating procedures and the documentation requirements, in order to create training materials, update Standard Operating Procedures and other documentation as needed.
- The applicant will also need to edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers or establishment personnel.
SKILLS:
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in the food production industry is preferred
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly skilled at observing processes and re-creating that process into a step by step training guide
- Ability to confer with plant managers and supervisors to work new material into the existing procedures and training materials that exist
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Ability to select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material.
- Strong ability to create and maintain the information architecture
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Ability to work a variety of shifts as the business need requires
