Staff Software Engineer Job

STAFF SOFTWARE ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT job opportunity with Yoh's client located in MILPITAS, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS

- OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING: C# OR C++
- SCRIPTING: PERL OR PYTHON
- CRYPTOGRAPHY

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug product firmware to support consumer product video playback and DRM.
- Collect analysis requirements from different departments and incorporate with firmware engineering team to plans.
- Develop software tools including Windows program development with Visual C#/C++.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Proficient with Object Oriented programming such as C#, C++.
- Experienced in Scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and Linux Shell.
- Experience on Linux/Android platform development and DRM/cryptography/Embedded security development are both highly desired.
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Object Oriented programming: C#, C++ or Java
- Scripting language: Perl, Python
- Linux operating system, Linux Shell script
- BS/BA degree in CS/CE or above with 8 years and above of related firmware experience.
