SSAS/BI/C# ASP.NET Developer

SSAS/BI/C# ASP.NET DEVELOPER IS REQUIRED TO WORK ON .NET APPLICATIONS FOR A KEY CENTRAL GOVERNMENT CLIENT BASED IN LEEDS.

THE CONTRACT WILL RUN TO END OF MARCH 2013

YOU WILL HAVE PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN DELIVERING SYSTEMS USING MICROSOFT SQL SERVER ANALYSIS SERVICES HAVING WORKED WITH MULTIPLE CLIENT/CONTRACTS DELIVERING SUCH SYSTEMS (BUILT DIFFERENT CUBES OF VARYING STRUCTURES AND EXPERIENCE OF THE MDX QUERYING LANGUAGE TO BRING BACK GOOD QUALITY DATASETS)

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
You will have proven experience in delivering systems using Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services having worked with multiple client/contracts delivering such systems (built different cubes of varying structures and experience of the MDX querying language to bring back good quality datasets) You will be dedicated to the technical design, development, testing and implementation of .NET applications and services both in support and in the development cycle. These are important and challenging projects with tight deadlines, encompassing a range of technologies and working in an agile environment. You will be an all-rounder with in-depth technical knowledge and the ability to communicate and interact with the business and users, as well as being able to work effectively as part of an established team

KEY EXPERIENCE
Expertise in SQL Server Analysis Services C# ASP.NET with MVC framework Experience of Object Relational Mapping (ORM) with tools such as NHibernate Strong object orientation (ie working to SOLID principles) Experience of delivering systems in an agile environment

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential Experienced .NET Framework Developer (v3-4.5) with relevant technical experience, specifically. SSAS. C#, .NET Framework v 3-4.5. Web Services, Object Relational Mapping, Dependency Injection. Web development including ASP.NET MVC3+, Web API, Javascript frameworks. Experience in automated testing at unit and acceptance level. Experience of working in an agile environment. Desirable. Ability to transfer skills/provide on-job training.. Able to integrate, communicate and work effectively as part of an established team.. Take initiative and work to deadlines as required.. Produce clean, maintainable and robust code.. Develop and maintain harmonious and productive working relationships, internally and through external networking.. Provide Customers/Stakeholders with a positive experience of the service delivered.. Influence, negotiate and persuade regarding complex/sensitive issues.. Manage own time effectively
