Sr. Reservoir Engineer

Reservoir Engineer is urgently needed to fill a position in The Woodlands, TX with an international E&P company.

Progressive Global Energy & Natural Resources specializes in delivering first-rate professionals to the Oil & Gas industry. I work specifically with Reservoir Engineers and have been hired to execute an executive search to fill this role as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

Evaluating and understanding the reservoir/subsurface utilizing experience, data and analysis

Analyzing reservoir fluids, recovery factors and yields utilizing both internal and external data

Integrating data from G&G, completions, drilling, and operations and making recommendations on subsurface optimization and evaluation/experimentation

Researching and comparing subsurface analysis between shale plays to enhance understanding of the Eagle Ford Shale and accelerate learning

Supporting facilities planning and PDS process by coordinating the development of a subsurface basis of design

Performing analysis such as reservoir simulation, PTA, RTA, etc?

Monitoring and analyzing well performance

Preparing reserves and contingent resource analysis and reports

Evaluating type curve, decline & volumetric analysis

Preparing and delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 3 - 8 years experience in an upstream Oil and Gas Engineering discipline.

Solid background in subsurface analysis and reservoir engineering

Experience with analytical and numerical evaluation techniques

Experience with ArcGIS, Value Navigator, Harmony, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel
