Our DevOp engineers play a key role in the development, maintenance and improvements of our top-of-the-market infra services, using state-of-the-art technology. Our internal consumers (application teams) are motivated to be highly autonomous in deploying and utilizing our infra services without being too dependent on the availability of engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Sr. Network Specialist (Checkpoint/Cisco)
Support new consumer use-cases by:
- Creating designs within the architectural framework and policies based on consumer requests and requirements
- Prepare change run books
- Manage a controlled implementation
- You assure changes are well documented and knowledge is safeguarded for the client

Support the daily operational management of the (Cisco) network (Checkpoint) firewall and F5 load balancer environment including:
- Operational incident/problem handling following Itil best practices
- Management and resolution of operational and security risks, issues and problem
- Participate in 24x7 and standby shifts
- Configuration management

Handling requests via central mailbox and via sprint logs, proactively participate in the team by proposing, challenging and defending structural measures to prevent future operational and security incidents or improving the teams velocity
All activities are executed using the DevOps/Scrum methodology.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Sr. Network Specialist (Checkpoint/Cisco)
You can prove up to date certification of, and experience* with:
- Checkpoint Firewalls
- Cisco Networks
- Application Delivery
- TCP/IP, LAN and WAN topology
- F5 load balancers (LTM, GTM)
- Network services (DNS, DHCP, NTP)
- ITIL processes
- DevOps/Scrum
- One or more programming / Scripting language
