Sr. Java Developer

Our direct client, a well known Fortune 500 company in Chevy Chase, MD is in need of a Senior Java Developer for a long-term 6-month renewable consulting position. You'll be part of a team working on heavily advertised web sites, supporting a broad range of complex customer interactions with the company. Your responsibilities will cross all tiers of the application

Overtime: straight time

- 4+ years of experience with Java/J2EE and webservices
- Design, write, unit test, and document application code to successfully complete project-based work
- Strong testing and debugging skills a must
- Familiar with UML and other OO tools and a working knowledge of the tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent detail-orientation and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize assignments
- Degree in a related field
