Sr. Engineering Technician-Irving

Description This role will include the use of analytical tools (Spotfire, Access, Excel, OFM and others) in order to assist South Texas Asset Team (STAT), Operations with investigating relationships between production rates, lease operating expenses, and capital expenditures, as well as other technical data elements. The candidate must be able to represent these insights verbally and graphically, and integrate them into PowerPoint presentations when necessary.
Other duties will include regulatory compliance and tracking: acknowledge of Railroad Commission forms, SPCC creation/tracking, air emission and permitting for wells and/or tank batteries. Knowledge of mapping software for tracking STAT Asset activities (Wells Drilled, Completed, on Production, etc), will be considered an asset.

Requirements High school education or equivalent, some college preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support role in oil and gas. Must be able to interact effectively between multiple departments: land, accounting, operations, reservoir, drilling & completions, and other area teams. Have a working knowledge of Spotfire, Siteview/WellView, TOW, OFM, SCADA systems, and have an ability to manipulate and analyze sets of data quickly and accurately.
These requirements reflect the minimum requirements for the lower level position. The level at which a candidate is hired into is dependent upon the skill level and previous related experience of that candidate and the minimum qualifications for such level that they are hired.
