Projektbeschreibung

* Works as a member of a multifunctional project team of Drilling Superintendents, Drilling Supervisors and other Drilling Engineers planning and executing international deepwater wells.
* Provides technical guidance and mentoring to other less experienced Drilling Engineers.
* Supports and ensures consistent use and application of drilling engineering tools, programs, processes and standards as well as engineering designs and cost
estimates across the Drilling Engineering team assigned to the well.
* Provides in-country drilling engineering support to the Drilling Superintendent during well execution with assistance from the other members of the Drilling Engineering Team and guidance from Director of Drilling.
* Works with Director of Drilling, Drilling Superintendent, other engineers and service partners to develop plans of actions (POA), management of change (MOC), risk assessment and lead in POA discussions if required.
* Assists the Drilling Superintendent in organizing and leading rig site POA reviews and hole section previews with Service Partners and Rig Contractors if required.
* Works with the Drilling Superintendent, other Drilling Engineers, and Service Partners (rig based and shore based) to coordinate timely arrival of equipment and services for upcoming operations. Assist the Drilling Superintendent and provide guidance and prioritization of equipment requirement to Material Coordinator. Communicate upcoming equipment movements with Senior Drilling Supervisor and rig team.
* Supports the Drilling Superintendent, Material Coordinator and service partners in updating the 5 & 10 day forecasts.
* Works with the Director of Drilling, Drilling Superintendent and other Drilling Engineers to ensure offline activities are optimized and estimated centerline savings are recorded/reported.
* Performs general engineering calculations to support operations: update kill sheet, prepare management of change (MOC), risk assessment and casing / tubing tallies as required, maintain up to date maximum allowable overpull sheet, perform cement job volume & displacement calculations, perform FIT or LOT calculations, be present at cement unit for critical pumping activities, ensure adequate fishing inventory is available at the rig site, monitor and ensure minimum MMS drilling fluid volumes, prepare detailed relief notes at the end of every hitch.
* Assists the Drilling Superintendent with ensuring depth control of drill pipe, casing and tubing tallies-which includes strap lengths and fishing dimensions for critical items.

* Interacts with other Drilling Engineers to complete Risk Assessments. Communicates Risk Assessment to Director of Drilling, Drilling Superintendent, Service Partners, Drilling contractor and others to develop contingency plans for ongoing operations.
* Works closely with other Drilling Engineers on equipment, personnel, and procedure revisions etc. and communicate plans to the Drilling Superintendent.
* Works with Drilling Superintendent, Drilling Supervisor and other Drilling Engineers to prepare the End of Well Report.
