Sr. Biostatistician - Maryland

Responsibilities:

*Provides input into the preparation of sample sizes estimates, clinical endpoint assessments and planned analyses described in clinical protocols

*Works with Data Management and clinical personnel to provide statistical input for the design of Case Record Forms (CRF)

*Provides analysis and reporting support for clinical trials conducted by Clinical Research, Inc. and Affiliates.

*Prepares statistical analysis plans and report specifications

*Performs statistical analysis and interprets results

*Provides review of results received from Contract Research Organizations (CRO) Tables, Listings and Graphs (as requested) for on-going projects

*Provides input into the preparation and review of integrated clinical and statistical study reports

*Consults with other statisticians and content experts on the statistical methodology, study design, and data analysis strategies to be applied to a research problem

*Builds and maintains strategic relationships with clinical research colleagues within the biometrics and clinical research functional areas

Requirements:

*Post-bachelor s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related discipline with some exposure in the health sciences

*3 years biostatistics experience in a contract research organization or pharmaceutical company including SAS software programming experience

*Prefer coursework or experience in categorical data analysis, regression, analysis of variance, analysis of covariance, survival analysis and the analysis of missing data.
