Sr Technolgy Risk Manager

This is an amazing opportunity within a Major Financial Organization that is looking for a Sr. Technology Risk Manager. This position is full of daily challenges and will require strong communication skills as you will be dealing with different business groups on a daily basis as well as regulators. Candidates with 10 Plus Years experience with an Investment Bank Background or Big Four should apply.
The main duties and responsibilities for this requirement are the Technology Risk Manager will have experience: Supporting the design and deployment of a Technology Risk Framework and Control Self Assessment toolset. Manage development of business/technical requirements for any information risk management projects specific to his/her business/business partner areas. Provide oversight of risk, compliance and ethics across the Information Technology function. Drive a culture of compliance, risk avoidance/mitigation and corporate accountability throughout the organization. Identify opportunities to build risk programs into the daily operations of Information Technology. Develop policies, procedures, tools, and trainings to support the programs. Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures and take corrective action when appropriate. Work with counterparts across all business lines to ensure policy/procedure and control standardization. Work with management-level technical subject matter experts to establish risk avoidance/mitigation strategies. Identify areas for improvement, provide recommendations, select appropriate solutions, and implement. Review, edit and approve RFPs and questionnaires received from customers or potential customers to ensure response includes proper controls for information technology risk management and compliance. The IT Technology Risk Manager will have thorough knowledge of SOX as well as other Compliance within the Financial Service Industry. The IT Technology Risk Manager will be supporting SOX as well as managing down the impact of SOX and supporting individual technology teams throughout the life-cycle. The IT Technology Risk Manager will be working with Internal and External Auditors and be responsible for communicating with regulators. This position is to bridge the gaps between audit, technology and compliance. CISA OR CISSP Certification is desired but not necessary as well as a bachelors degree in computer science or accounting.
