Sr IT Test Specialist (Test Manager)

Key accountabilities of the role:

- Plan and execute quantitative and qualitative research and analysis that generates insight to drive improvement in Information Technology (IT) testing
- Help develop innovative fact-based and achievable IT strategies and operating models to enable delivery of business strategies
- Manage IT transformation and change programs with an understanding of the implications the new strategy can have on the day-to-day cross-functional operations of a business
- Seeks out partnership opportunities with external vendors and organisations including the coordination with technology and operations professionals to develop and introduce new testing strategies into a rapidly evolving marketplace. Once goals have been defined, the Test Manager for strategy and governance inspires and influences those across the team to achieve them
- Develop trust-based relationships with IT and business managers by utilising experience and networking skills to navigate the complexity of the organisation.
- Design and deliver well-structured, high impact communications
- Engage with multiple vendors both internal and external to provide the best testing solutions

Building Relationships

- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups and key internal stakeholders.
- Manage key external stakeholders, including clients and third parties, relevant to the achievement of business objectives.

Planning/Scheduling

- Plan and prioritise own workload to achieve deliverables in required time frames.

People Management

- Contribute to the effectiveness of the team through positive and productive personal behaviours.
- Provide advice and demonstrate initiative in areas of functional expertise, where appropriate.
- Encourage the sharing and solicitation of information between work streams, creating opportunities for information transfer across the team
