SQL Teradata/Developer - Teradata - Hertfordshire - 3 months rolling contract - 275 - 300 pd
Exciting new opportunity for SQL developers to work immediately with one of the country's leading organisations. As a SQL developer you will be in working on the development and optimization of the current supply chain systems. You will be joining a large team of industry professionals in building sales forecasting models hosted on a Ruby on Rails front end with a Teradata and Matlab backend.
This is a high profile project within a fast-paced Agile environment using an in house web based system. The SQL developer will be expected to create complex SQL queries for extracting and manipulating data for the statistical forecasting models. This renowned company will accentuate any CV and boost your marketability whilst increasing your developer skills via a vibrant and challenging working environment.

* You need to have at least 3 years experience with SQL programming language.
* You must be able to write complex SQL queries.
* You must have experience with query analysis and performance tuning.
* You should have excellent experience with table design, indexing and partitioning.
* You should have experience with modelling, simulation and data mining.

Skills in Ruby or other scripting languages are desirable.
