SQL Support

Our client is a global leader in their field is now seeking to recruit a SQL Support Specialist to join their team on a contract position. This role will require flexibility as there may be times when the candidate is required to travel to various client sites within Dublin.

The responsibilities of the SQL Support Specialist will include, but are not limited to the following:
* Continually monitoring of the application/database instances on a daily basis
* Perform daily maintenance tasks on SQL Installations/Database instances were needed
* Solving problem tickets
* Applying/Installing new versions and database instances

You must possess the following skills to be considered:
* Knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005/2008
* Strong communication skills
* Self-motivated and the ability to work on your own initiative
