SQL/SSRS Developer Job

Yoh has a contract to hire opportunity for a SQL/SSRS DEVELOPER to join our client in Allen, TX.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report development using Microsoft SQL Server (2005/2008).
- Database Design.
- Building and maintaining SSRS Reports.
- Stored procedures.

Job Qualifications:
- Report development experience using Microsoft SQL Server (2005/2008)
- Ability to identify and Create the proper table Indexes and knowledge of tuning databases
- Strong database design skills (can take requirements and output an ERD and other design docs that another developer can use to produce code.
- Microsoft Reporting Services experience.
- Expert skills in Microsoft SSRS report designer and report controls
- Strong hands on experience building and maintaining SSRS reports.
- Ability to identify commonalities (if any) in reporting and avoid repetition, always keeping the big picture in mind.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services.
- Must have good experience with SQL Error Handling, SQL Transactions etc. and SQL Tables, SQL Views, SQL Triggers, SQL Stored Procedures, Functions.
- Nice to have knowledge and hands on experience:
- Showcase Query
- IBM Query
- DB2 Query
- IBM AS400 SQL
- JD Edwards
- Microsoft Visio
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
- Excel
- Access
- Word
- Soft Skills Required
- Professional positive attitude willingness to learn in a fast-pace environment
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
