SQL Specilist Java Developer Investment Bank

SQL Database and Java developer is required by my client within the investment banking space based in the heart of London. As the SQL database specialist you will be working within a niche team whose main focus is within the fixed income market, they have been given the task of developing a risk solutions to provide unique reports to the rest of the business. Within this team they also use Java and they need a specialist to architect solutions within SQL and Java. The reason that this niche SQL team is looking to expand is due to the investment in this area from the business which is down to the approach they take on being able to deliver cutting edge solutions to different business areas for their demanding client base rapidly. The role needs a strong developer who has the ability to develop SQL Server databases and being able to integrate them with Java. As the SQL database developer this role will require you to build out the new database system as well as liaise with the fixed income and derivatives business on a daily basis.
