Scope:
Supporting in the SQL/Sybase Team 1000 SQL instances with around 6000 SQL Databases in the Level 2 Team
Responsibility for technical management and coordination of issues and projects primarily involving installation, configuration and on-going administration tasks of SQL Server databases
Active participation in the resolution of system and performance issues
Need to have:
- At least 10 years' experience and extensive knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server 2008
- Very Good knowledge of Windows & SQL Server Clustering based on Windows Server 2003/2008 with of VERITAS clustering and volume manager
- SAN/NAS Storage
- troubleshooting, Performance management on SQL Databases
- English speaking
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of installing and configuring SQL Server- Reporting Services, Integrations Services, Analysis Services.
- German speaking
