Our client is the industry leader in software seeking a Developer candidate with extensive real-world experience in MS SQL Server centered around the needs of OLAP systems.

OVERVIEW:

- Focus heavily on coding, and testing of applications: primarily SQL Server technologies.
- Moderate focus on design tasks. Some designs are not yet created or are in process and this SDE will have an opportunity to contribute to them.
- Focus primarily on OLAP oriented systems (rather than OLTP).
- Documentation will be expected.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong core SQL Server including Transact SQL required
- Must be very familiar with stored procedures, views, schemas, etc. as well as why they re used.
- Knowledge and some proficiency with performance concerns and tuning required
- Proficiency with dimensional design required
- Knowledge of more traditional OLTP design desired
- Most or all of the following required: SSIS, SSAS with MDX, C# with .NET, SQL Azure, BI reporting tools (ie SSRS or other)
- Must be able to operate independently with some oversight
- Must be able to contribute ideas and work well with a team
