SQL Server Developer - Luxembourg

Our client is a leading Finance business with global presence. On their behalf we are looking for a contract Analyst Programmer to fill a vacancy in the Development and Integration team in IT. The firm will be undertaking several high priority projects during 2014/5 and needs to supplement the small internal development team with additional capacity. The team works on a wide variety of business systems relating to activity across the whole investment management business. As part of the team the Analyst Programmer/Developer is required to develop and maintain in-house systems, integrate 3rd Party Vendor supplied applications and services within the firm. They would also provide 3rd line support for some of the business systems.

Skills/Experience required - Essential:

At least 5 years experience in the Investment Management industry, excellent knowledge and experience of MS SQL server development (SQL, T-SQL, SSIS/DTS, SSRS, Database Design) and an in-depth knowledge of Financial Markets including Equities, Bonds and Derivatives. 

The candidate must be willing to travel and live in Luxembourg for the duration of the contract.
