SQL Server Developer - Front Office £575/day

My client, a global Tier 1 Bank in London (Canary wharf) is looking for a contractor to join their team for a rolling 6 month contract. Summary: Sql Server Developer Skills Required: - Sql Server Development - SSIS - Experience with very large data sets - C# Experience (only basic C# experience is required). - Cross Products Front Office experience (i.e Commodities, FX, Fixed Income etc) - Experience liaising directly with Risk Managers is a bonus... Department Overview: Contingent Portfolio Risk Management is responsible for measuring and monitoring risk across all collateralised exposures for Financial Institutions and Funds. The CPRM IT team creates the tactical infrastructure to support this role. Main Function The role will be a developer role, working closely with the Risk Managers in the Contingent Portfolio team. The major functions of the job are: Working on systems developments/enhancements to meet users requirements. General Business Analysis and systems development/enhancement related to Contingent Risk related initiatives. Testing associated with the above initiatives including consolidating user issues. When required, investigation of problems in the process to identify and rectify issues. Main Duties: Development/Support/Enhancement of tools and applications using SQL Server, C#, SSIS and Autosys Interpreting risk data across different asset classes. Development of reports and reporting tools to provide timely and accurate MI to risk managers. Liaising with different stakeholders (Risk Managers, Market Risk Engineering, Risk Project teams, IT) in order to draw up work schedule.
