SQL Server Developer (Applications)

If you are an SQL Server Developer with experience on SQL Server versions including 2000, 2005 and 2008 within a Windows environment and you are looking for a contract in Leicestershire, then the following role could be of interest to you.

You will be working for a business within retail information management, although experience in this industry is not required. You will get the opportunity to work on a variety of varied projects that play to your particular strengths and experience. My client has a variety of potential projects that can range from SQL server migrations to a newer version to repair and improvement on the existing platform to datawarehouse development and other SQL Server based projects. You will also be required to produce the relevant documentation.

The only essential skill to be considered for the role will be that you are a strong SQL Server developer with experience within 2000 and 2005 version, 2008 would be preferred. It would be advantageous of you have experience with migrations previously. A knowledge of C# would be useful in the role also, but is no essential. Any industrial background will be considered with financial or retailing being preferred, but please do apply if you are from another industrial background. Projects are available within the testing sphere also so if you are from a testing background with SQL Server experience you will also be considered.
