SQL Server Developer

My client is looking for an SQL Server Developer for an exciting contract opportunity in Brussels starting in the new year.

The SQL Server Developer must have the following skills:

Skill - SQL Server T-SQL Programming

*Ability to understand and implement Declaring Variables, Building Blocks, Control Structures, Explicit Cursors, Handling Exceptions, Creating Procedures, Creating Functions, Creating Database Triggers and Transaction Management.
*Ability to understand and implement Dynamic SQL Usage, Programming with locks and isolations and Working with Temporary Tables
*Advanced Transact-SQL constructs, Business logic with stored procedures, Creating user-defined functions (UDF), Formulating triggers, Integrating XML with Transact-SQL, Transactions in T-SQL, Transferring data to and from SQL Server.
*Ability to Tune T-SQL Applications for Performance, Advanced Query concepts, Adv. Stored Procedure Programming, DTS Programming Understanding of Database Migration Process:
*Ability to work on Database Upgrade using T-SQL Ability to work on Database Migrations using T-SQL
*Exposure to Data Migration Tools Exposure to Multi DB - Multi Platform Migration

Additionally, experience with SQL Server Application Admin is required:

Skill - SQL Server Application Admin

*Awareness on Application DBA Basics
*Ability to understand DB Administration Tools
*Working Knowledge of database specific data movement tools
*Strong knowledge in Database Architecture and concepts
*Able to Implement Application DBA Skills (Like Application/Development Support Admin)
*Ability to understand Database Upgrade
*Ability to understand Database Migration Process

Additionally exposure to Basic Relational Database Concepts - basic types of databases, data integrity, the relational model, etc is desired.
