SQL SERVER DBA (SQL SERVER 2012)

Microsoft SQL Server DBA sought for our customer based in Warsaw/Poland for a 6 months contract opportunity.

This role requires on-site presence.

THE ROLE INVOLVES;

- DBA/database installation and design for Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and Oracle
- Global migration to MS SQL Server 2012

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE, SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILL SET;

- Seasoned MS SQL Server DBA with many years experience.
- Experinece with Migration (ideally from Oracle 9i to Microsoft SQL Server 2012).
- Experience from high availability (HA) set-up in enterprise environments.
- Experience from data warehouse and analytics projects and working with challenging network conditions with high latency.
- Experience from database deployment automation tools are an advantage (BMC or other technology).
- Fluent Business level English. Polish language preferred.
- Eligibility to work in Poland (EU Passport/Work Permit)

START: ASAP ( Must be on-site no later than 8th September)

DURATION: 6 months (with possible extension)

LOCATION: Warsaw/Poland

RATE: Negotiable depending on experience
