Our leading Ecommerce client in Staffordshire is looking for a SQL Server DBA to work specifically on a short term project assignment. The ideal candidate will be available early December.
The SQL Server DBA will work within a team responsible for supporting our clients databases and ensuring their performance, availability, scalability and security.
The SQL Server DBA will specifically assist with a large volume release which will incorporate QA and performance related testing.
Ideally the candidate will have commercial database administration experience with recent production database admin experience. Additionally the SQL Server DBA will have experience of managing multiple distributed SQL 2000/2005 RDBMS on a large scale in a high volume OLTP environment. Excellent TSQL experience is required.
