SQL Server DBA / SQL Server Database Administrator / SQL DBA / SSAS / SSIS / SSRS / E-commerce / London / £400 per day

My client who are a leading e-commerce organisation based in central London are currently looking to hire a Senior SQL Server DBA to be responsible for the support of the databases and ensuring their performance, availability, security and on-going maintenance. You will also have responsibility over elements of development and the Microsoft Business Intelligence landscape.

Experience required:

- Administrator capabilities on SQL Server 2005-2012 (2012 not essential)
- Experience of indexing and replications
- Installation/ Configuration experience
- Minimum of 3 years SQL Database Administration
- Experience of SSRS, SSIS and SSAS is desirable
- Experience in performance optimization (tuning, indexing, consistency checking)
- Responsible for implementation and release of database changes
- Strong communication skills
- Ability work towards deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Database design exposure

You will exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to gather complex requirements.
