SQL SERVER DBA - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM - ENGLISH SPEAKING

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a SQL Server DBA.

1. TECHNICAL SKILLS

SQL SERVER

- Maintaining a SQL Server Business Intelligence environment with Windows/Linux in a multi-domain/multi-customer environment
- 3-5 years Microsoft SQL Server ( 2000, 2005, 2008R2 and 2012) experience with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- SQL Server installation, patching, and upgrades
- Experience with maintaining large databases
- Transactional replication and database mirroring
- Database backup/restore, knowledge of Tivoli Data protector for SQL
- Good working knowledge of database security concepts
- SQL Server Performance monitoring and problem debugging: SQl server Profiler and Windows Performance Monitor, Tivoli monitoring
- SQL Server cluster support
- SQL Server SSRS, SSIS and SSAS
- SQL server installation in Microsoft or symantec cluster
- Basic knowledge of MySQL.
- Good knowledge of Tivoli monitoring tool

- Having skill to handle high priority situation independently.
- Experience with working in a critical production environment

- Project management skills to lead and coordinate transfer projects of additional work from local to IDC
- Good communication skills: in writing, verbal and in usage of the right medium for the right goal
- Discrete, patient, immune to stress, pro-active, problem solver and end-to-end responsibility are key
- Flexible to work in Different Shifts between 07:00h and 19:00h
- Flexible to work out of business hours, including weekends.
- Participation in on-call rotation is required
- Min 3 years experience. in multi customer environment
- Fluent in English, both writing and speaking. Good knowledge of DUTCH AND/OR FRENCH is a plus

Extension beyond March 2015 is likely.
