In the scope of a fairly complex landscape, the Senior Business Intelligence Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for creating and executing end to end test plans in an Agile setting to ensure the delivered solutions comply with applicable quality standards and perform as expected by the business environment and end user (requirement compliance, performance, reliability, interfaces).

Main responsibilities & duties
* Author and execute end-to-end test plans for Enterprise Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions from SQL Back End to User Interface to ensure the delivered solutions comply with applicable quality standards and perform as expected.
* Compliance to expressed requirements/user stories
* Performance Reliability Integrate with an Agile Scrum team Effectively communicate with the rest of the Scrum team (Product Owner, Developer, and Business Analyst, peers).
* Indicate performed and upcoming activities as well as known impediment/issues.
* Express issues in a clear, consistent and understandable manner (written, verbal).
* Take ownership of all assigned tasks and project related assignments.
* Ensure direct communication over email/ticketing chain to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
* Effectively advocate and disseminate Quality Assurance best practices in the team. Share enthusiasm about QA Testing methods, toolsets and test automation.
* Teach other software development trades quality assurance best practices to allow test driven development (unit testing or other).
* Support the business owner for User Acceptance Testing (or act as his delegate if applicable). Create relevant test data sets
* Establish and agree on Acceptance Test Plan based on expressed requirements with the Business Owner.. Record and analyses issues reported during User Acceptance Testing activities
* Support the Business Owner for the acceptance decision. Skills/Experience. Clear communicator (written and verbal)
* Creative solving of technical problems
* Able to focus on deadlines and deliverables in an autonomous manner
* Able to present the development team as well as our products in a positive and professional manner
* Enthusiastic about learning new technical skills and tools
* Languages English fluent: written and oral Abilities to deal within a multicultural and distributed environment (ability to communicate effectively in a conference call setting).
* SQL querying (Oracle Certification a plus).
* One general-purpose programming/Scripting language
* Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence platform (Cognos, Oracle, or equivalent)
* Agile collaboration suite (Rally, JIRA or equivalent)
* Quality Management suite (requirements management, test management, HP Quality Center or Equivalent)
* Bachelor or Masters of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent
* +8 years experience in Software Quality Assurance preferably on Business Intelligence and Enterprise Data Warehousing projects
* Experience integrating in a Scrum driven development team Knowledge of at least one general-purpose programming language
* Multi-cultural experience on geographically distributed projects Travel Industry related experience is a plus
