ENDEAVOUR RECRUITMENT has a fantastic opportunity for a skilled SQL Server DBA to work with our client in Brussels, Belgium.

The role

To Maintain a SQL Server Business Intelligence environment with Windows/Linux in a multi-domain/multi-customer environment

The Candidate

Experience required of the SQL Server DBA

- 3-5 years Microsoft SQL Server ( 2000, 2005, 2008R2 and 2012) experience with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- SQL Server installation, patching, and upgrades
- Experience with maintaining large databases
- Transactional replication and database mirroring
- Database backup/restore, knowledge of Tivoli Data protector for SQL
- Good working knowledge of database security concepts
- SQL Server Performance monitoring and problem debugging: SQL server Profiler and Windows Performance Monitor, Tivoli monitoring
- SQL Server cluster support
- SQL Server SSRS, SSIS and SSAS
- SQL server installation in Microsoft or Symantec cluster
- Basic knowledge of MySQL.
- Good knowledge of Tivoli monitoring tool

Fluent in English, both writing and speaking. Good knowledge of DUTCH AND/OR FRENCH is a plus

Remuneration

- Up to €53 per hour
